La Isla de la Munecas (Island of the Dolls), Mexico.
Don Julian Santana, a hermit, dedicated the last fifty years of his life to make this island filled with ugly, mutilated dolls. It is believed that he did this to please the spirit of a little girl who had drowned in the canal. He was found dead in the same canal in 2001.
